Acceptance
By using the Myntrava website, booking an appointment, or attending a consultation or treatment at our clinic, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version will always be available at myntrava.com/terms.html.
About Our Services
Myntrava provides elective and planned clinical orthopedic medicine, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting. We are not an emergency care facility. For any medical emergency — severe trauma, suspected fracture with deformity, acute chest pain, breathlessness, neurological deficits, uncontrolled bleeding, signs of deep vein thrombosis, or any symptom you believe is life-threatening — proceed directly to the nearest hospital emergency department (Makati Medical Center, St Luke's BGC, Ospital ng Makati) or call 911. Nothing on our website or in our correspondence is a substitute for an emergency department visit when one is clinically warranted.
Information on our website is provided for general education. It is not tailored to you, does not establish a physician-patient relationship, and must not be used as a substitute for personal medical advice from a licensed clinician who has examined you.
Booking & Cancellation
Appointments may be booked via our website, by phone, or by email. We ask that cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance so that we can offer the slot to another patient. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, or a no-show, will be billed at 50% of the consultation fee. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule at the clinician's discretion to protect the appointments that follow. Emergencies and genuine transport disruptions (flooding, major traffic incidents during storms, illness of the patient) are always considered on a case-by-case basis — please contact the clinic as early as you can.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash (Philippine peso)
- GCash
- Maya
- Visa and Mastercard (credit and debit)
- HMO direct billing with accredited providers — Maxicare, Medicard, Intellicare, ValuCare, Kaiser, EastWest Healthcare
- PhilHealth reimbursement for eligible procedures (forms and receipts issued for self-submission)
Consultation, injection, physiotherapy, and package fees are displayed in clinic and on our website. HMO coverage depends on your specific plan and pre-approval rules; excess-of-cover balances are the patient's responsibility.
Client Responsibilities
For us to provide safe, high-quality care, we ask patients to disclose in full and in writing, at the first visit and before any procedure:
- All current medications, including over-the-counter and traditional medicines
- Known drug, latex, or contrast allergies
- Chronic medical conditions — diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, bleeding disorders, immune suppression
- Previous surgeries, orthopedic or otherwise, and any implanted devices
- Pregnancy, or possibility of pregnancy, prior to imaging or any injection
Omissions or inaccuracies on a pre-procedure form are the sole responsibility of the patient and may affect the safety and outcome of care.
Health & Safety
The following conditions require explicit disclosure and clinical review before any injection, imaging, or physiotherapy intervention:
- Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy — contraindicates most imaging modalities and several injection options
- Implanted pacemakers, ICDs, or neurostimulators — affect choice of electrotherapy modalities
- Anticoagulant therapy (warfarin, rivaroxaban, apixaban, dabigatran, heparin) — must be disclosed before any injection; bridging or withholding protocols may be required
- Active infection at or near a planned injection site
Failure to disclose any of these conditions may result in avoidable complications for which the clinic cannot be held responsible.

Limitation of Liability
Myntrava and its clinicians will provide care in accordance with the standards expected of PRC-licensed medical and allied health practice in the Philippines. Medical outcomes are inherently variable, and no specific clinical result is guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, our liability for any website-related issue is limited to the cost of the service rendered or, where no service was rendered, to PHP 1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury caused by gross negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these terms, the use of our website, or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Regional Trial Court of Makati City, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or patient protection provisions under Philippine law.
